RedBus Bingo Sponsoring Daytime TV on ITV2

It has been revealed that RedBus Bingo has signed a contract to become the official sponsor of ITV2 daytime. Sixteen small promotional features for the site have been created to play between ad breaks and will be broadcast several times a day, from Monday to Friday each week.

RedBus was also made official sponsor for the ITV celebrity show 'All Star Family Fortunes' last month, but it is hoped this daytime promotion will attract more players to the site. Although ITV2 has far less viewers than ITV’s terrestrial channel, it is one of the most popular satellite channels in the UK.

ITV2's programmes generally fall into the light entertainment category – 'Emmerdale', 'Gossip Girl', 'Britain's Got More Talent' and 'Secret Dairy of a Call Girl' are among the most viewed – so RedBus Bingo is sure to fit in well. Each feature will come up at various times and won't be associated with any particular programme.

Hero Media was responsible for producing theses sixteen mini features, which are roughly 10 seconds in length. Each one shows a different musician playing the RedBus theme tune while busking on the street. There is also a wide selection of instruments used, such as milk bottles, accordions, spoons, bagpipes and a sitar.

The features were shot with each musician in front of a green screen, and afterwards an animated red bus was inserted into the background.
