Online Bingo on the Up as Closing Sites Are Outnumbered by New Arrivals

Sunday, 07 November 2010 - 19:58

Although a number of bingo sites have ceased operation in recent weeks (leading software provider Playtech has announced the closure of two of its popular brands, BingoDay and Titan Bingo, to concentrate efforts on promoting Ruby Bingo) several new brands are due to be launched before the end of the year, and overall, there is currently more sites opening than closing.

Of course, this is all very good news for online bingo fans. The more sites that are out there, the greater competition will be and operators are sure to be offering big promotions to win new customers.

One site that is scheduled to arrive before Christmas is BingoCams, which will be powered by Microgaming – the company behind Giggle Bingo amongst other names. This software provider is also due to add at least one more site to its network in the coming months.

In addition, there is a possibility that Virtue Fusion, which was acquired by Playtech earlier this year, will be launching two new sites in the near future. Dragonfish, a subsidiary of 888 Holdings, has also recently announced that a brand new site, Shampoo Bingo, will be open for business within the next few weeks. Shampoo will be offering a 100% bonus on first deposits of £10 or more and 50% on reloads between £20 and £100.
