Bingo.com moves to Virtue Fusion Bingo Platform But Will It Be Enough

Bingo.com has recently announced its move to the Virtue Fusion bingo platform, moving away from another recent move to CozyGames which did not result in the level of success that Bingo.com was hoping for.
While perhaps the best website address an online bingo operator could hope for, Bingo.com has not had anywhere near the level of success in the UK that it had hoped for and recent figures showed the site, which is owned by Unit bet, did in fact post 3rd quarter losses of nearly $250k.
Virtue Fusion is one of the leading bingo suppliers, powering other huge bingo sites such as William Hill Bingo, Bet365 and Virgin Bingo to name a few. If Bingo.com can not make a success of their site on the Virtue Fusion platform,
Our personal thoughts are that it needs to be more focused on what it is offering and to whom. While there is nothing wrong with having a multinational bingo site, this can sometimes be at the hindrance of properly targeting one or the other. Bingo.com’s UK share is very little, yet the UK is perhaps the biggest user of online bingo in the world. Its homepage also lacks the focus of other bingo sites and frankly, we find the site a little uninteresting to visit.
We’ll soon see if the move to Playtechs Virtue Fusion bingo platform will in fact be the missing ingredient, or whether it is something more fundamental that needs to change.
